Our programs are offered in almost every campus in the following areas: Agriculture, Biological Sciences, Health, Exact and Geosciences, Humanities, Social and Applied Sciences, Engineering, Linguistics, Language Studies, Literature and Fine Arts.

Unesp´s graduate programs have had great impact not only in the professional life of the students but also in the number of graduate degrees awarded in the country. Unesp is the second university in Brazil and the third institution among Brazilian and American universities to award PhD degrees.

In Exact Sciences Unesp has achieved great distinction in graduate studies, especially in Chemistry and Physics, with two of the best basic and applied programs in Brazil. The relevant research developed at Unesp produce remarkable and effective knowledge in technology, in new drugs and materials.

Unesp's Biological Sciences graduate programs excel in fields such as Agriculture, Animal Science, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Medicine and Dentistry. Our students are qualified to work in the agricultural and food industrial productive chain and in diverse health areas.

In Humanities, Unesp has leading graduate programs in Brazil, especially in Portuguese Language, Foreign Language Studies, Linguistics, Literary Studies, International Relations, Geography and History. Moreover, our faculty has played an outstanding role in the formulation and execution of public policies to improve the educational system in the country.

Today Unesp is a reference center in educating, training and qualifying students as well as providing human resources to face the new challenges and demands of the job market in the field of technology, in universities and public administration.
